Should I apply moisturizer after a mask?
Remember that masks should be part of your skin care routine, not the whole thing. We recommend applying moisturizer after using a mask.
This may sound unnecessary, considering that the main purpose of a mask is to hydrate the skin, but applying moisturizer afterwards has many benefits. Firstly, moisturizer helps lock in all the great ingredients you just applied. If you don’t, some may be lost to evaporation. So make the most of your mask by doing a beauty treatment afterwards. You should also use an eye cream afterwards.
If you have very dry skin, then applying moisturizer afterwards is even more important.
It’s also worth noting that you shouldn’t apply moisturizer before applying a mask, as the pores should be completely clean, otherwise they may become clogged and have a negative impact on the skin.
When using moisturizer, be careful not to remove the serum from the mask, as this will weaken the effect of the mask and take away the moisture you just applied.
